i can't sleep because my mind is racing with thoughts. mostly images and ideas. perhaps if i just share a few things that i am thinking of..

i fell in love with this today:

it is Michelangelo's "The Pieta"

absolutely beautiful..it amazes me the detail, and the realism of the fabric and the physique. i love the serene look on Mary's face as well. just so breathtaking..

and here is what i'm experimenting with for my large format project:

this is by Douglas Mellor.

he has a group of images that are inspired by flemish paintings from the renaissance period. i'm playing around with this concept for my project. i'll post some stuff when i get it done.

that's all for now...i think i can fall asleep now.
